Red Dog News Recommends the OMP Posing Guide

Red Dog News is the online photography missive from the folks at Cygnet Press. Managing Editor Tim Anderson offered an exclusive review of the OMP Posing Guide, and we wanted to share it with our members in case they are looking for last-minute gift ideas.

"The folks over at One Model Place (where I find many of the models I use for my projects), have released the consumate book for the photographer and/or model who just can't think of enough poses to keep a session going. It seems as though, for most photographers, there are only so many poses the human body can do. With the "Guide to Posing the Female Model, photography tips.com and One Model Place have made the perfect book available, with more than 1,000 individual black-and-white poses. This is a no-brainer for any photographer who uses models."

Have a Holly Wi-Fi Christmas!

Models and photographers who want to stay connected this holiday season are in luck! Walletpop.com reports that Google is teaming up with Boingo Wireless to provide free WiFi at 47 airports across the U.S. until January 15.

In addition, the article relates that Google is also working with GoGo, an in-flight WiFi provider, to provide free Internet access on Virgin America flights for the holidays.

The list of participating airports include:

Austin (AUS)

Boston (BOS)
Bozeman (BZN)

The article states, "You don't need a Google account or any other credentials to use the free wireless at participating airports. The only thing Google asks in return is that you consider donating to one of the following charities; Engineers Without Borders, the One Economy Corporation or the Climate Savers Computing. After connecting to the free service, you will be presented with an option to donate and have your gift matched by Google up to $250,000. The airport that brings in the most donations will also receive $15,000 to donate to a local charity of its choice."
