Playboy Features "Real Housewife" in Latest Issue

As reported on HuffingtonPost.com, "Real Housewives of New York City" star Kelly Killoren Bensimon is on the March cover of Playboy magazine, shot by her ex-husband Gilles Bensimon. Kelly, 41 and a mother of two, promises she's nude in the pictorial, but said it's not gratuitous shots of her genitals. As she told E!'s Marc Malkin, "I don't think that part of a woman's body is really evocative. The roundness of the hips, the buttocks, the breast, the shoulders, the clavicle, the hair, the teeth--those are things that I think are most evocative and provocative parts of the body. So I don't think it's really necessary to show that.

In Touch Magazine exclusively reveals that Tara Reid has stripped down to pose for the cover of the Jan./Feb. 2010 issue of Playboy magazine. The American Pie star, who underwent a botched liposuction procedure in 2004, posed entirely nude for the popular magazine at a private residence on October 7 in Santa Monica, Calif. Although Tara, 33, was a bit nervous shooting, she seemed to ease into it as the day went on. "She was a bit insecure about her body when they first started," says an insider. "She looked great and finally got into the groove." Tara had said in the past that she would never pose for Playboy, saying, "I know there are problems with my stomach. There are bumps on it, it's uneven, but it's not that bad. My stomach scars are my battle wounds."

Also interesting to note -- Playboy is apparently starting the year off with a "two-months-in-one" issue, meaning less editions throughout the year.

Playboy Cuts Back with July/August Issue

The bad news: In an effort to save money on printing and distribution, Playboy magazine has combined its July and August issues. The good news: With "Attack of the Show" TV host Olivia Munn on the cover (and inside, though not naked), the magazine may sell twice as many copies!

Megan Fox's Esquire Cover Shot in Video

The cover for the June issue of Esquire magazine was shot in video... Yes, video! The video-captured cover of actress Megan Fox is turning heads in the magazine industry, which brings into question the fate of traditional SLR photography.

Photographer Greg Williams videotaped the cover shoot with his 4K Red ONE video camera, while Fox "acted out a scene for 10 minutes." The June 2009 cover of Esquire featured the best frame from that video. The issue is available on newsstands May 10. The rest of the video is to be featured on the Esquire site -- here's the link:

Makeup Artist Cindy Cohen Works Her Magic for Maxim

 has been perfecting the art of makeup design for the past 20 years. She got her start in the business by working in a department store on Long Island in New York, demonstrating techniques to customers. Her efforts paid off recently when her work was featured on the cover of Maxim Magazine Spanish Edition.

She first joined OneModelPlace.com in 2003, after photographer she was shooting with introduced her to the site. Since then, she has been able to display her work on OMP to professional commercial photographers who would in turn contact her about hiring her for assignments.

In addition to Maxim, Cindy’s other clients have included Harley Davidson and Simply the Best magazine.

She points out the differences between doing makeup for magazine shoots and fashion shows. “The makeup for the camera is more exact because it is a still shot. A runway show is live and the models are constantly moving, so the makeup doesn't have to be as exact, because the naked eye is not exact.”

Cindy has some advice for people interested in makeup careers. “Pick the type of makeup you want to excel in, and the medium, and become an expert in those areas. I chose photographic makeup and I excel in clean beauty.”

She also has an inspiring message for anyone in the arts. “To be good at anything. you have to really love what you do and have a passion for the work.”
