Calling All Scrubs!

According to ew.com, the television sitcom "Scrubs" has officially started casting the three new med students exec producer Bill Lawrence first told me about last month. Details are as follows…

LUCY: A 22-year-old, all-American girl from a working class family. Her entire family has sacrificed all their hopes and dreams on her success. She has a nervous habit of lying about mundane things in an effort to connect with people. Series regular.

DREW: A 30-year-old scruffy yet attractive student. Think a younger Bill Murray. This is his last shot of making a go of this med school thing – and he knows it. On the surface he's cool and a bit of a wise-ass. Deep down, he's neurotic and terrified of failing again. Series regular.

COLE: A 22-year-old charming, conservative, insanely entitled med student. Seems like a sweetheart at first but he's really an ass. His wealthy family donated a wing to the med school and he has a residency slot waiting for him at Sacred Heart when he graduates. Competitive, manipulative, reckless and an enormous irritant to Dr. Cox. Series regular.

SuperCon Audition News

If you are in South Florida tomorrow, M & Co. Photography is seeking two to three performers for Florida Supercon. Here is their audition notice:

The casting will take place at OMP studios (One Model Place) on Thursday, June 4th between 5 and 6 pm. Please be prompt. We might run long, but we will not see anyone who arrives after 6. The address is 850 NW 57th CT, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 33309. You can either mapquest or call 954-771-9035 for directions.

The event itself is a 3-day comic/anime convention in Miami. Our final selections will definitely be required Friday (we are still working on the exact time, but 2:30pm ‘til about 8 sounds close.) If all goes well and according to plan, we will need you for Saturday and maybe Sunday as well. The gig pays $50 a day, plus 10% commision on any images you appear in for our company. You will be paid in cash at the end of each working day, and lunch and your costume (except for shoes) will be provided. Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to provide a make-up artist.

Audition News for "Twilight" Sequel and "American Idol"

Auditions for "American Idol" begin in June for the ninth season. The AI tryouts will start on Sunday, June 14th, and will hit seven cities throughout the summer.

Casting for the third "Twilight" movie, entitled "Eclipse," has just been announced. Director David Slade has released the following character breakdowns:

Riley -- A handsome, blond, clean-cut college boy who falls victim to Victoria. He's in his early to mid 20s and plays an integral role in Victoria's attempt to murder Bella Swan."

Seth Clearwater -- A member of the La Push werewolf clan, he is a tall, gangly-limbed boy with a huge, happy grin who idolizes Jacob.

Leah Clearwater -- Seth's big sister, and the only woman in La Push. She is tall and slender with beautiful skin and short cropped black hair. She would be considered gorgeous if not for the perpetual scowl she carries due to a broken heart and her anger issues.

Like New Moon, they are looking for Native American or First Nations actors to fill the roles of the two members of the Quileute tribe and La Push wolf pack.

"Seth Clearwater is a "tall, gangly-limbed boy with a huge, happy grin," the notice reads. "Seth idolizes Jacob."

Seth's big sister is 19-year-old Leah Clearwater and the only female member of La Push: "She is tall and slender with beautiful skin and short cropped black hair. She would be considered gorgeous if not for the perpetual scowl she carries due to a broken heart and her anger issues."

The movie "Eclipse" will start shooting in August.

Scream Queen Got Her Start on OMP!

Kitty aka Krystal Stevenson is a model and actress whose credits include "Psycho Santa," Cadaver Bay" and "Dead Clowns."

According to an interview on horror-asylum.com, she developed an early interest in the arts. "Growing up I was always interested in TV and movies and still very much am! Once I was old enough to realize it was acting and wasn't real, I knew that I wanted to be a part of it. I wanted to be an actress!"

OMP helped Kitty get her start in the industry. "I was told by a lot of people that I was very photogenic, and some even told me that I should do some modeling.
